Questions and answers

What people ask

Is a digital general meeting valid?

Usually yes, if the bylaws allow it or the meeting itself decides so. Some bylaws require digital participation to be mentioned explicitly. Check yours, and ask a lawyer if in doubt.

Can anyone see how I voted?

Not in a secret ballot. The system records that you voted but stores the vote separately from your identity. In an open vote, votes are shown by name, like a show of hands.

How do you make sure each person votes only once?

The organiser uploads the voter list and the system issues one personal link per eligible voter. The link works once and expires after the vote. On paid plans you can add a one-time code by email, so the vote is only cast once the code is entered.

How do you handle proxies?

A member can give a digital proxy to another member before the vote. The proxy holder then votes with both votes, and the record shows which votes were cast by proxy.

What does it cost?

You pay per meeting, not per ballot cast and not per agenda item, with a free tier for meetings of up to 50 voters. Early customers keep the introductory price even if it rises.

When can we use it?

We are onboarding the first associations now. Fill in the form and we will contact you personally and get you started. If you have a vote within three months, say so in the form.

Where is our data stored?

On servers in the EU. We store only what is needed to run the vote, and the voter list is deleted when you ask.
